This one is mostly experimental. I had to take Human Anatomy over the last summer and a side effect, have learned human anatomy.
You'll note that I used thicker lines in certain areas, a technique widely used in American comics, in order to make Samus appear more intimidating. In my opinion it totally worked: maybe I can use this the next time I draw a villainous character! Or at least, something low-key threatening like this.
This will good practice for when I have to draw the upcoming final Sakura picture. Yes yes, I keep saying it will come soon but it's very hard to draw someone that muscular! I already tried three times and all of them are bad except the last one: and while the 3rd drawing is acceptable, it isn't good enough! So fourth time's the charm, especially armed with my newfound human anatomy knowledge!
